The Fallshaw MHH100 is a 100mm high temperature castor with a fibreglass reinforced nylon wheel, designed for equipment exposed to elevated temperatures. It's suited to applications such as baking ovens, smokehouses, food processing equipment and other commercial or industrial environments where standard castors are not suitable.
The glass-filled nylon wheel provides good resistance to sustained high temperatures while remaining relatively quiet and gentle on most floor surfaces. It is suitable for extended periods at temperatures up to 210°C, provided most of the castor's operating life is spent outside the oven, and for shorter periods at temperatures up to 230°C.
The load capacity varies with operating temperature: 80kg per castor at 150°C, 70kg at 180°C, 60kg at 210°C and 50kg at 230°C. These ratings should be used when selecting the castor for your application.
The 100mm diameter x 32mm wide wheel has an 8mm bore, 40mm hub width and plain sleeve bush. The castor fork features Fallshaw's zinc-plated Core Coat finish with clear lacquer for corrosion protection and is available in swivel plate, fixed plate and 12.7mm bolt-hole configurations.
The swivel plate is 96 x 78mm with four 8mm mounting holes and slotted mounting centres, commonly used with 60 x 80mm mounting centres. The bolt-hole version can be fitted using a single M12 bolt. The swivel model has a 91mm swept radius and 135mm overall mount height.
