These 100mm (4 inch) fibreglass reinforced nylon castors feature a heavy-duty 10mm bore and 45mm hub width, making them a robust choice for high-temperature applications such as food baking ovens and other commercial or industrial equipment. Glass-filled nylon provides good resistance to sustained heat while remaining relatively quiet and gentle on most floor surfaces.
Fibreglass reinforced nylon is suitable for extended periods at temperatures up to 210°C, assuming most of the castor's operating life is spent outside the oven, and for shorter periods at temperatures up to 230°C. The load rating varies with operating temperature, from 100kg per castor at 150°C down to 60kg at 230°C.
The 100mm diameter x 32mm wide wheel has a 10mm bore and 45mm hub width and runs on a plain sleeve bush through the centre. The castor forks feature Fallshaw's zinc-plated Core Coat finish with clear lacquer for corrosion protection.
Available with swivel plate, fixed plate or 12.7mm bolt-hole mounting. The 86 x 100mm mounting plate has four 9mm holes with slotted mounting centres and is commonly used with 60 x 80mm mounting centres. The bolt-hole version can be mounted using a single M12 bolt through the centre hole.
The swivel castor has a 90mm swept radius and a total mount height of 129mm.
