The Fallshaw MKT100 is a 100mm high temperature castor fitted with an Italian-made phenolic wheel, also known as a monolithic wheel. Designed for high-temperature applications, it is an excellent choice for bread baking ovens, food ovens and light-duty industrial ovens, including paint curing applications above 230°C.
The phenolic wheel is designed for extended use at temperatures up to 250°C. It runs on a PTFE (Teflon) sleeve bush, providing reliable operation in high-temperature environments where conventional wheel bearings may not be suitable. The load rating is 125kg per castor at 100°C and 100kg per castor at 250°C.
The castor fork features Fallshaw's zinc-plated Core Coat finish with clear lacquer for corrosion protection. The MKT100 is available with swivel plate, fixed plate or 12.7mm bolt-hole mounting.
The 96 x 78mm mounting plate has four 8mm holes with slotted mounting centres and can be fitted using 60 x 80mm mounting centres. The bolt-hole version can be mounted using a single M12 bolt through the centre hole. The swivel castor has a 91mm swept radius and a 135mm overall mount height.
The phenolic wheel is 100mm in diameter x 35mm wide, with an 8mm bore and 40mm hub width. The wheel runs on a PTFE (Teflon) sleeve bush through the centre.
Phenolic wheels are designed for smooth-floor applications and are not suitable where the wheels are subjected to significant impact, such as when a loaded trolley is rolled down steps or over rough surfaces.
