The Fallshaw 100mm Light Duty Polyurethane Castors are designed for hospital carts, small trolleys, lightweight furniture, retail displays and other equipment requiring smooth movement over short distances. The high-grade polyurethane wheels are suitable for carpet, smooth concrete, tiles, lino and vinyl floors and are rated to 100kg per castor.
The polyurethane tread is mechanically keyed into the nylon centre to help prevent brittleness or chipping during use. PU wheels provide good floor protection and smooth rolling, making these castors a practical choice where floor care and easy movement are important. Twin sealed ball bearings provide smooth, low-maintenance rolling.
The castor forks feature Fallshaw's zinc-plated Core Coat finish with clear lacquer for corrosion protection. Two complete rows of ball bearings in the headrace provide smooth and reliable swivelling. These castors are suitable for use on furniture and equipment in non-corrosive environments.
Available with swivel or fixed plate mounting, or a 12.7mm bolt-hole mounting, these castors can also be fitted with an optional total brake that locks both the wheel and swivel. The swivel mounting plate measures 83 x 58mm and has four 9mm mounting holes with 64 x 39mm centres. The bolt-hole version uses a single M12 centre bolt.
