The Fallshaw 65mm Light Duty Thermoplastic Castors are designed for hospital carts, small trolleys, lightweight furniture, light-duty tables and other equipment requiring smooth movement over longer distances. The softer thermoplastic wheels are suitable for smooth concrete, tiles, lino and vinyl floors and are rated to 50kg per castor.
The thermoplastic tread provides smooth, quiet rolling and is gentler on floor surfaces than harder wheel materials. Twin sealed ball bearings provide smooth, low-maintenance rolling, making these castors a practical choice for equipment that needs to be moved regularly.
The castor forks feature Fallshaw's zinc-plated Core Coat finish with clear lacquer for corrosion protection. Two complete rows of ball bearings in the headrace provide smooth and reliable swivelling. These castors are suitable for use on stainless steel, chrome, aluminium, metal or wooden furniture in non-corrosive environments.
Available with swivel or fixed plate mounting, or a 12.7mm bolt-hole mounting, these castors can also be fitted with an optional total brake that locks both the wheel and swivel. The swivel mounting plate measures 83 x 58mm and has four 9mm mounting holes with 64 x 39mm centres. The bolt-hole version uses a single M12 centre bolt.
