The Fallshaw DCI75 is a 75mm high temperature castor with a cast iron wheel designed for demanding industrial applications where equipment is exposed to extreme heat. Rated to 100kg per castor at 400°C, it is particularly suited to applications such as paint curing ovens and other high-temperature industrial equipment.
Cast iron provides excellent resistance to extreme temperatures and maintains high load capacity where other wheel materials may not be suitable. The wheel runs on a plain sleeve bush for reliable operation in high-temperature environments.
The castor fork features Fallshaw's zinc-plated Core Coat finish with clear lacquer for corrosion protection. The DCI75 is available with swivel plate, fixed plate or 12.7mm bolt-hole mounting. The 96 x 78mm mounting plate has four 8mm holes with slotted mounting centres and is commonly used with 60 x 80mm mounting centres. The bolt-hole version can be mounted using a single M12 bolt.
The 75mm diameter x 28mm wide cast iron wheel has an 8mm bore and 40mm hub width. The swivel castor has a 71mm swept radius and a total mount height of 106mm.
Cast iron wheels are heavy and can be noisy in operation. They may also mark or damage concrete floors, particularly when heavily loaded or used on uneven surfaces, so they are best suited to smooth, hard floors where extreme temperature resistance is more important than floor protection.
